The Final Post
Hi everyone, this post will be the final one in terms of Teaching with Technology Course. In this post you can find my reflections about the philosophy statement I wrote at the begining of the semester and reflections about our course what I liked or didn't like. I will also mention about the development of my technological skills. However, after that course probably I will continue to write on my blog about whatever comes to my mind I hope you follow.
1-) Reflections on the First Philosophy Statement I Wrote
In the first statement I mentioned about the integration of technology into education. I wrote about pros and cons according to me. Actually I have same ideas but there is one thing which has changed. The matter of difficulty. In this lesson I realized that actually it is not a very hard thing to integrate technology to education. We can all use it. I was a bit biased but I have understood. As a teacher, we and our students can benefit from the technology and have an entertaining time because technology is like a world doesn't end. We can always continue to find out new things and develop ourselves. About pros, I agree with my previous statement. Including technology to our teaching process is inevitable and a neccessity.
2-) Reflections on Our Course
At the first lesson of this course actually I was a bit afraid because I got the idea that We would have lots of tasks and very busy program and also to be honest I am not so good at technological things. But with the lessons I understood I need to be familiar with technology and tasks were most of the time very enjoyful. To give examples, we created a podcast, digital story, online poster and etc. There were moments that I really struggled but I could complete all of the tasks. I am very pleased about taking this course, It made me aware of same technological facts.
3-) Evaluation of my Technological Skills
This course contributed to me a lot. In this course I got familiar with lots of apps and also I learned some technological things for example how to explore a website or an app. And blogging, before this course I had any experince with it but after that I am planning to keep active my blog.
That was a very entertaining and useful experince for me...
